River Oaks, home to the River Oaks country club, is an affluent neighborhood. Within the last 10 years, developers have changed older houses around the River Oak subdivision into new townhouses, transforming the inner-city into a beautiful area. Downtown Houston and the Texas medical Center are easily accessible, as the River Oaks area is situated in Center West Houston.

The River Oaks community is bordered by Westheimer Road on the south, the 610 Loop on the west, Montrose on the east and the Allen Parkway on the north. It is a beautiful area to live in.
